Scott Brown has made the \u2018controversy\u2019 over Elizabeth Warren\u2019s purported Native American heritage a centerpiece of the final lap of the campaign. Indeed, his staffers went so far today as to taunt Warren with \u201ctomahawk chops\u201d mocking her claims.<\/p>\n<p>But at the debate, Brown said this \u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAs you know, I think what you\u2019re referring to is the fact that professor Warren claimed she was a Native American, a person of color \u2014 And as you can see, she\u2019s not.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now that sounds like a great gotcha line. Unless, you know really anything about the modern Cherokee Nation.
