Although Ryan&#8217;s\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: none; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: dotted; border-bottom-color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/thinkprogress.org\/health\/2012\/08\/13\/681611\/paul-ryan-bad-for-womens-health\/\">anti-abortion credentials<\/a>\u00a0have gotten plenty of coverage since he was announced as Romney&#8217;s veep choice, the full extent of the measures he&#8217;s endorsed is breathtaking, and includes cosponsoring a measure that would allow hospitals to deny women access to an abortions even if\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: none; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: dotted; border-bottom-color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/mojo\/2011\/10\/congress-anti-abortion-law\">their life is in immediate danger<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0.8em 0px; color: #000000; font-family: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, 'Bitstream Vera Sans', sans-serif; line-height: 24px; background-color: #ffffff;\">The House passed the\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: none; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: dotted; border-bottom-color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.govtrack.us\/congress\/bills\/112\/hr358\/text\">Protect Life Act<\/a>\u00a0in October 2011, with Ryan as one of its\u00a0<a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: none; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-style: dotted; border-bottom-color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.govtrack.us\/congress\/bills\/112\/hr358\" target=\"_blank\">145 cosponsors<\/a>. The measure would allow hospitals to refuse to &#8220;participate in&#8221; or &#8220;provide referrals&#8221; for abortions.
